Goodnight Batcave Review (Dave Croatto, Tom Richmond)

Goodnight Batcave is a MAD Magazine parody of the children’s classic Goodnight Moon. Batman is getting ready for bed but suddenly his rogues gallery appears and he must defeat them all before he can go to sleep!

It’s your usual children’s book format: couple dozen pages in length, a rhyming line per page and very kid-friendly illustrations. I also like how Alfred is the dad, cleaning up after messy son Batman as he lies tuckered out snoozing at the end! Oh, er, spoilers.

Goodnight Batcave is a cute Batman-ized version of Goodnight Moon that DC fans with kids will probably enjoy reading with their little ones. Daww! And if this fails, there’s always “Go The Fuck To Sleep” read by Samuel L. Jackson!
